PLEASE HELP US CONTINUE SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY

Our club has several projects that benefit our local community. We never hand out money, but rather provide items required to several different types of projects, where the beneficiaries are not one, but many, very needy people. We support projects for the aged as well as the youth, we have a fantastic wheelchair project, an exciting new water project, we assist with literacy projects and even basic health-care projects. We really do touch many lives and we would be delighted to share more information on these with you, if you are interested.

Obviously as a charity organisation, we need to raise funds from time to time so we can continue with our work. We are putting on a Golf Day on the 8th of May at the Sabie River Sun in Hazyview & we need your support in the form of buying a tee or a green or both. We also need prizes, no matter how big or small! The cost details as follows:

Tee R1000.00 Green R500.00
Tee & Green R1500.00

For prize sponsorships; the competition format is a better ball stableford, 2 in a team, so prizes need to come in two’s wherever possible.

You are welcome, of course, to do some marketing at your Tee or Green. Marketing material needs to be put up by 08:00 and must be removed by 18:00. Sending a representative from your company to impress the golfers (in any way they like!) on their way past your tee or green is a great way of driving your brand into this captive audiences mind!

Please be kind enough to e-mail your willingness to sponsor, with details of what you would like to sponsor, to linda.glyn-cuthbert@harveyworld.co.za. An invoice will be sent to you with our bank details on the invoice for EFT’s.

CAMP QUALITY IS AROUND THE CORNER

45 Kids that are currently suffering with cancer will be spoilt for a week.

Please keep your eyes peeled for the pics :>

25th of March is the Nelspruit club day.

The kids will go flying at the Nelspruit Aeroclub and the Detroit Spur at Riverside Mall will treat them to a 'lekka' Burger and other goodies.

ROTARY CLUB OF NELSPRUIT GOLF DAY 08 MAY 2010

Imagine if every person on the planet displayed just one act of kindness towards another person, consistently & regularly. It could be anyone, from a family member to a complete stranger. If we were all ever mindful of the needs of those less fortunate than ourselves, and acted on our conscience, imagine what a difference we could make! This has, and continues, to be the mission and vision of millions of Rotarians across the World. It is this very vision that drives all Rotary Clubs, and the Rotary Club of Nelspruit is no different.

FEEDBACK - INNIBOS, BALLOONS LAUNCH, GOLF-DAY

Hi Everyone,

The Innibos Windhoek Beer tent went off fabulously. We managed to do about as much turnover as last year, so, considering the times we are in the feeling is that we did well! Thanks to all of you that helped and most of all to those who supported us with their thirsty presence :D

The balloon launch did not happen due the miserable and wet wheather. The balloons would not have risen even if we did try (SORRRRYYY!!) We will be launching the messages as soon as we can from an alternate place.
WATCH THIS SPACE FOR DEATILS.

We will be having a golf day to raise funds on the 10 of October 2009 in Hazyview. Please contact at 0137511814 or 0727726317 to book your place.

Rotarians don't forget the trip to Kruger park for our senior citizens on the 03 of October 2009. All hands needed!
